Wood Badge for the 21st Century is for Scouters from Cub Scouting, Boy Scouting, Venturing, District and Council leaders. You will learn contemporary leadership skills that will change your scout units, your workplaces, and
your families. This is a FUN course that is a mix classroom learning with games and activities that reinforce the teaching sessions.
WOOD BADGE attendees consist of adult leaders in all phases of the Scouting movement. The course is designed to teach leadership skills that are applicable to working with Scouts of all ages or other adult leaders. All qualified Scouters who want to improve their personal leadership skills are encouraged to attend. Most of all, plan to have fun!
(Attendance on both weekends and both patrol meetings is required)
August 20, 2009: Orientation • Scout Service Center
September 12-14: Weekend I (3 full days: Saturday to Monday) • Camp Spencer, Broad Creek Memorial Scout Reservation
Patrol Meeting #1: Between Weekend (scheduled by Patrol)
Patrol Meeting #2: Between Weekend (scheduled by Patrol)
October 16-18: Weekend II (3 full days: Friday to Sunday) • Camp Saffran, Broad Creek Memorial Scout Reservation
