BSA Adventure Base 100 to visit Baltimore Inner Harbor July 16-18, 2010
Adventure Base 100 will travel across the country to give people an exciting, hands-on view of the history and future of the Boy Scouts of America. Starting in Pasadena with the festivities around the 2010 Rose Bowl, Adventure Base 100 will land in major media markets across the country to rally people of all ages to join the BSA in “Celebrating the Adventure, Continuing the Journey.” One stop on the route will be our very own Baltimore Inner Harbor – July 16-18, 2010!
“There has been a great deal of enthusiasm and excitement about Adventure Base 100 and we are very excited to be on the tour since the Inner Harbor will give maximum exposure to our historic city,” said Paul Madden, Council 100th Anniversary Chairman.

In the artist rendition shown here, you see the concept of the Adventure Base 100 tractor-trailer, which quickly unfolds into 10,000 square feet of immersive Scout-related experiences—with a hightech museum, ropes course, interactive kiosks, a ceremonial stage, multi-sensory dome, and more!

Be sure to visit and consider volunteering to help staff the Adventure Base while it's here.
