BSA National Pike District

The National Pike District is presenting a JUNIOR LEADER TRAINING WEEKEND, called PATHFINDER II, in the Spring 2010.

Your Senior Patrol Leader and any member of the troop leadership should be urged to participate, along with any boys that you and the leadership of the troop feel would benefit from this learning experience.

The PATHFINDER II program is designed to provide a “step above” the troop provided junior leader training, but not quite the full, heavy duty experience offered at a full week JLT session.  The course follows the national guidelines for JLT development, utilizing many sources available today and will be the same format, with minor revisions as the course in the past.

Place: Troop 882 Meeting Hall, Lisbon MD (see directions on the permission sheet)
Dates: April 16, 17, 18, 2010
Time: Check-in 6:30 PM, Friday; Check-out 11:30 AM, Sunday
Cost: $27.00 per scout, payment to be postmarked no later then Friday April 2, 2010

All training materials and food will be provided by the staff.

Registration will be made on a first come first serve basis and will be cut off with 32 participants.  Please register NO MORE than 4 boys per troop.  (Additional scouts can be put on the waiting list)

If your troop has the leadership resource to assist in the weekend, the help would be greatly appreciated.
